The first ultra crappy Prisoner John. I made this movie after I saw a film about gay LEGO people that was really funny (I can't remember the name) and I wanted to try to do something similar.
I made this film back when I had a super shitty computer in Director 4 with very bad capture software and an old camcorder that almost never worked. That's why the image quality blows and the resolution is so low. I added the music a few months later because I thought it was missing something and I really wanted to change the title. But, I never ended up with anything satisfying so I'm sticking to "A Killer in Happy Land".
Fun Fact: this entire film was made in less than a day, and it shows!
Fun Fact #2: if you absolutely need a soundtrack, play the movie with "The Interlocutor" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. It's kind of like my take on the Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon thing.
